Describe your editing process.
I tend to micro-edit as I write. This involves reworking lines and even entire lines to fit the evolving narrative. Doing this does slow the process down, but on the flip side it produces a very clean manuscript.
What is your biggest challenge in editing?
My biggest challenge is having a good overview of the finished book – the longer it is, the harder I find it. This is where I usually get my editor involved, as I very much need a second pair of eyes.
