Moving forward

It’s now three months since Cliff passed. There are still days where grief leaves me breathless, but I’m no longer drowing in it. Something that I know he’d be happy about.

With my mental health improving, I’ve taken steps to get my writing career back on track. I’ve bought several writing books and, more importantly, booked a writing coach for the next three months. The project I’m bringing is an urban fantasy romance with the working title A TOUCH OF FROST. Yes, this is a Loki story. No, it’s not the Marvel version.

The WIP is currently at 9K, and I made a Scrivener project for it this evening. It does have a cover, but I’m cautious about sharing too much too soon. It’s been a good while since I felt like this about my writing, and I don’t want to ruin things.
